Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a naturally occurring group of derivatives of linoleic acid found in beef, dairy products (as a results of incomplete ruminal biohydrogenation) and vegetable oils (sunflower and safflower). The term conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) refers to a collection of positional and geometrical isomers of linoleic acid with conjugated double bonds.
